On Friday 20th March 2020, the Government announced details about their Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) where the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, told businesses that the Government will reimburse employers for 80% of “furloughed” workers wage costs, to a cap of £2,500 per month.
