Clearly it is sensible to follow official advice to reduce the risk of catching and spreading the virus as well as increasing our normal hygiene measures. However, it is also important to maintain a common sense and informed approach in these troubling times. Many employers also recognise the value of upskilling their managers when they would otherwise not be able to work (due to the restrictions being imposed).
In order to ensure all colleagues are skilled and ready for whenever we are able to get back to some form of normality, and to maximise the opportunity to be productive at what might be a less busy time in people’s days and diaries, I am able to hold training sessions via video conferencing and can and will continue to accommodate face-to-face training, where requested, whilst observing sensible precautions.

Failing to ensure that your line managers have the proper skills and knowledge to carry out their roles as a supervisor or manager can create significant risks for your business (including possible claims and tribunals as well as time consuming appeals). It can also have a negative effect on the enthusiasm and productivity of the teams or individuals they manage. Do your managers and team leaders understand their right to manage? Consistent and effective management is the key to employee engagement and performance.
All embraceHR training courses include practical examples of real-life case studies that are applicable, current and relevant, ensuring your managers know the essential leadership and HR processes in order to comply with the law, reduce risk to your business and get the best out of their team members. We also provide essential toolkit items such as accompanying documentation, crib sheets and flow charts to help managers understand the steps to take in each process and enable them to have the skills to handle a variety of management situations with confidence, courage and composure.

We spend time understanding your business and can adapt the courses to suit your needs and ensure the training is relevant. All of our courses can be provided as high energy, high impact bite-sized circa 2-hour interactive training sessions (thereby minimising the impact on production and time away from the workplace), which are becoming increasingly popular with organisations. Alternatively, we can combine sessions into half or full day practical Leadership Development Programmes from the available options. We can also extend many of the sessions for more in-depth content and focused learning. Talk to us for more details about our interactive and informative training sessions.
We can conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and we also offer tailored ‘Core Skills’ training for your team members, helping them to develop their skills and feel valued by you, the employer. These include:
